Google has announced that publishers can now choose to show anchor ads on wider screens such as desktop size screens
Recall that before now the anchor ads have been available on smaller screens only.
Anchor ads now support a larger range of screen sizes. For sites that have anchors turned on, anchor ads will soon start to appear on wider screens such as desktop. Our experiments show that anchor ads perform well on wider screens.
The anchor ads for wider screens is scheduled to start serving until after July 19, 2021.
Publishers who prefer not to show anchors on wider screens can turn this option off using the “Wide screen” control in Auto ads settings.
